A Hatha style class in a heated room, traditional practice promotes balance, precision and flexibility through holding poses longer and working with the breath. Suitable for the beginner and intermediate practitioners.
An ashtanga-based class in a heated room. Synchronizing movement and breathing through poses. Producing intense and internal heat purifying and detoxifying the organs. Prior experience with yoga and sun salutations are recommended for this class however, all levels are welcome.
YOGA TAI CHI FLOW:
This class combines a soft yoga practice with the Tai Chi flow. It starts with meditation and then goes into a soft yoga practice ending with a Tai chi flow series and meditation. Every week learning a little bit more of the Tai chi series. Tai chi is an ancient Chinese art in the form of a series of soft, slow, and flowing sequences. The aim of Tai Chi is to increase and harness one’s chi. It can be applied to generate more focus, energy, power, strength and inner connection, the journey to self-discovery. This slow flowing practice also improves our right and left hemisphere of the brain allowing for a more balanced mind. It improves our health and vitality.
Sculpt and tone your core, arms, and legs using your own body weight in this mat Pilate workout. Adding flexibility to open the hips and advance backbends. We deepen the stretch in this class taking you in to splits and advance back bends.
A modern-day form of classical Indian yoga, practiced in a regular temperature room. Turning static asanas into dynamic flow with smooth movements between poses like a dance. Variations to the postures and Vinyasas are always given to make the class accessible and challenging for all.
Can’t decide between Yoga and Pilates? Try Yogalate! A combination of Yoga and Pilates. It is a blend of East and West philosophy and exercise, in order to derive benefits from both schools. It is practicing Pilates on the yoga mat. The exercises incorporate stretching, strengthening and limbering. The focus is more on developing the physical aspect of the self. Yogalates incorporates yoga in the sense that poses are held for some time and there is a pause between poses. Intensive abdominal and back strengthening exercises are done, which are more Pilates than Yoga. With Yogalates, you burn fat faster than with pure yoga, and at the same time get the spiritual wellbeing that yoga brings. This class is practice in a hot room.
GROUP EX CLASSES
Combines elements of boxing & martial arts. Class starts with 10 to 15 mins of warmup stretching, jumping jacks, and skipping. Followed by a kickboxing session which includes movements such as kicks, punches, knee strikes, push ups & abs. Results are increased muscle, toning, weight loss and conditioning.
A dynamic, fun workout program where you are going to be constantly challenged. No guts, no glory in this total body workout! This class incorporates drills designed to enhance agility, speed, power, strength, and quickness. You’ll move around the room to a number of different stations – each designed for a specific exercise. Check “lazy” at the door when you step into this workout. This dance combine contemporary, jazz and ballet movements, fun and upbeat workshop. high cardio class that will make you work a sweat! and learn some of the basic movements of these classics. This class can be done bare foot, ballet slippers or jazz shoes. Whatever your style you will tone and sculpt your body in this fun dance class.
